Police truck hits 2 beachgoers, leaving 1 with broken ribs

A Long Beach police truck accidentally struck two beachgoers on Sunday night, leaving one of them with broken ribs and a contusion, cops said. The pair was hit at around 7:40 p.m. by an officer in a 2016 Chevy Silverado, according to authorities.
